| So, people. I, with a lot of help from my dad, have constructed a a Microsoft Spreadsheet.
Basically, what it does is figure out what the type and base power of your Pokémon's 'Hidden Power' move is.
You need to input the IVs of your Pokémon in the section highlighted in yellow, and it will feed you back the type and base power in the section highlighted in red.
Your IVs will range from 0-31, and you'll need to know them for this to work, as they form the base components of what your Hidden power is built around.
Follow this URL: url=Xaiku.com/zac/HPC.xls
You'll need to open it using Microsoft Excel, and feel free to save a copy on your harddrive.
I request, though, that, if you want to show this to others, link them to this page to take the link. It took about an hour and a half to get working, I'd like people to at least know the name of one of my less common internet personae as the one who created it.
Please, enjoy, and post up here as confirmation to other that, you know, it's what it says it is, and isn't a virus, so that they know, too.
EDIT: Hey, I'm also going to be a jerk and request that, if you liked this, then you give me a +1 reputation for this post. I'm currently on +2 overall. Everybody else has such high numbers.. I'm going for 53,597.

| As a confirmation, the spreadsheet isn't a virus and it works accurately.
Hehe, thanks to your dad for all the help! This will be pretty helpful for many of the members. | |

| Azure, for the confirmation, you receive my 'thanks' in this thread. Kadoking, that's pretty impressive. My computer is old. Yours must be very old. Olkies. I've also noticed that some computers with Excel that has had no upgrades may not display the elemental type properly. You should be able to install a small (official Microsoft Excel) tools pack which comes with your computer to make it work. I could hunt down which one it is, but I'll wait and see if anybody runs into this problem first. If you do, post up here and I'll update. I was initially planning to have a backwards function whereby, instead of saying 'These are my IVs, what Type/Power do I get?,' you could say 'I want X and Y Power and Type, what IVs do I need?' But, well, this seems a lot harder, and I don't think I'll end up getting this down. If there's any complete excel whizzes out there, and you can update it to do this, let me know and I shall hail you in cybercookies. Also, if anybody find any problems with this at all, please let me know and I'll do all I can to fix it. ^_^ | |
