Why Pokemon?

ok so why did you choose pokemon when there where other good games available? was it because of the gameplay ect? or did ya get it so you didnt want to feel left out when friends had the game?

tell us why you got it

I will go first!! There is no particular reason i chose pokemon as you will understand..
Well back in 1996 i was in a video store trying to decide which game should i buy!!When i couldnt make up my mind i took just out of curiosity Pokemon Red!
Meanwhile i was watching the 1st season of the anime but i didnt realise that the game i was playing was that on the tv screen because everything in the game was totally different than the anime,even pokemon's sprites...you couldnt understand that pikachu was pikachu!!So when i realised it,i was already impressed from the game and the anime made me stuuuuck!!
From then i am a pokeholic and i buy every version of pokemon not just for my collection,but also because this game is getting better and better,despite the fact that the main gameplay is the same....maybe this is its greatness hahahaha!!!

i only battle with the pokemon that i love

i got interested in pokemon when i four years old. when i saw that pokemon was also a game i was so psyched! my favorite color was blue at the time so of course i got blue version. so i've been a pokefanatic ever since.

great reasons guys

My brother, pokmonmaster, played pokemon. I watched him play and thought it was pretty cool. I also watched the pokemon show, since my brothers buddy had a ton of old kanto region pokemon videos. My brother got us both a saphire, and ruby version. And the first one i played was the ruby. And now, I got a pokemon platinum version, my second game. So, im pretty new to this pokemon stuff, stil asking my brother quiestions about the game.

before i was watching the movies (which i really like) then when i found out there is a game i freaked out i played and won 3 pokemon games now plantuim is my fourth

i love games that you can play for a long time and i also love games that you lv things up its fun

that def makes pokemon sooooooo fun
