Ooh dear, I think Dede answered them all, but I'll give it a go. I have almost all the berries on my DS as well, ironically I only miss Pecha, Haban, Colbur and Oran, as I counted. I'm not naming any Generation 2 berries here like PRZCureBerry, unless it's asked for. Wish me luck, hehe. n.n

1. Well, since you said name one healing berry, I'll name the basic one: Oran, which heals by 10 HP.
2. I don't know what you mean by legendary berry but I'll name the ones I think are legendary by their description. Is it the one from Hoenn? Then it will either be Lansat berry, Ganlon Berry, or Salac Berry.
3. Cheri berry cures paralysis.
4. Berries first came out in Generation 2, but their names were like Bitter Berry, PRZCureBerry, etc. They didn't have exact names at that time.
5. Berries can be used in lots of ways. For instance, they can be used to heal your Pokemon of status ailments or regain HP, decrease their EVs for EV training, make Pokeblocks and Poffins for contests, increase happiness, as stat boosting battle items, and many more.
6. Haha, I had to look hard through those berries for this answer, hehe. Here it goes: Figy, Wiki, Mago, Agauv, and Iapapa.
7. Haban Berry.
8. Starf Berry!
9. 64, if you don't count e-holder ones or Generation 2 berries.
10. Tamato berry
11. Ganlon berry raises the defense stat of a Pokemon if the Pokemon's HP goes below one third.
12. You can't really "make" berries, just like you don't "make" plants, hehe. They in-fact have to be obtained from a tree or from a person, then you must plant it either in soil or a berry planter (HG/SS) and water them to make them grow.
13. You can tell if a berry is thirsty if the soil looks dry (Light colored) If that's the case, then you should water it. n_n
