im thinking about Affiliates..................

I think its a good way to be more popular in the world wide web world of pokemon. So i will start a poll for 72 hours and we will see the results. BTW i vote yes

Yes, you should get affiliates, but that wont bring you any major activity boost or popularity. It is the forum itself you need to work on...

Exactly, I agree with Skoch. We need to work on the forum itself, firstly. But it doesn't hurt to be affiliated, though.

Honestly, I don't think any forum would want to willingly affiliate with this site, given the general misspelling-ridden front page, the useless clutter surrounding most of the forum posts, the overall filthy nature of the layout, and the fair bit of controversy this site's had...

Variant just said what he wanted. You have to understand this is an open forum, not YOUR forum. We all have the right to speak and he is a member just as much as you are.
And i completely agree with Variant. You have to fix and update the forum before starting to affiliate with other forums.

I'd easily improve on this site if I were an administrator. I'm not, so I can only sit back and watch. If I were admin, I'd do some things that members like you wouldn't like because of the thick-headed nature of many forum faithfuls.
I did suggest improvements, btw. I stated it quite clearly. The front page is riddled with misspellings; the layout is sub-standard, meaning fix up the images and straighten things out; and the filthiness caused by the mis-matched widgets and awkwardly-placed areas can also be cleared out. Also, many of the important topics have quality that are far below the expectation of cleanliness. I'm also pretty sure one or two of the administrators here are clueless when it comes to HTML/CSS/all that other cool stuff.
Skochko, as much as I appreciate your backing me up, don't pick on dedebird. I have the right to speak my mind and she has the right to raeg at me for whatever reason she wants.

She has the right to rage, but she shouldn't. Its not helping her reputation nor its not helping this forum.
Dont get offended by this Dede, but what have YOU done for this forum lately as a moderator? Sorry if im mistaken, but i havent seen you do anything major to improve it.

She has been advertising and all, which is what she says. And a few people have come here. And about affilates, mabye we do need to fix up the forum a little, and affilate later. Slow and steady, mabye?

All we have done something about this comunity. I know we must fix alot the forum but this is in your hands (Admins , mods,) because im not in my home and i cant use a pc for a long time. So please lets start from affilates andd we will see. I will create the widget right now. Someone else if he can he must create our icon. Can somene do that?

I can, i just cant be bothered to. Nor im really willing to... Dont mean to be rude...

You know what? I agree with Raikou. We need to go slow and steady on this. I really think we need to focus more on our layout and content than getting Affiliates for now...This is getting quite agitating.

Yes, akis. You're right but, if we improve the forum first, affilates will come on their own. That's what it's about. Im sure serebii or smogon had to wait some time before they got their first affilates. It's just like, if you play in morning soccer practice to get into the school team, you just have to play well, whether anyone is watching or not. The team will come running on it's own

Exactly. You cant expect a major improvement from affiliating with a less-than-average forum. Fix the grammar mistakes, change the skin, add more interesting threads and get rid of the unnecessary widgets on the main page.
