TER's Mascot Pokemon!

Maybe we must find a "mascot pokemon" for our forum. Like Serebii has Celebi I thought its good idea to have one. I will write a list and we will vote.

Legendary Pokemon are a bit too overrated. Since our Forum is known as The Emerald Rain, how about something green? I think Rayquaza is too overrated.

But all in all, I vote for Castform! Even if its off topic.

Rayquaza cant be a mascot because of the RAIN part. Rayquaza blocks weather, therefore it would be inappropriate, even though it is the mascot of Pokemon EMERALD..

does it have to be legendary or even powerful? i mean like there are 484 other Pokemon. why can't we have one of those Pokemon, like say maybe spirittomb or even togepi.

For some reason, when I think of The Emerald Rain, I think of Lugia.
It might be because of the favicon.

I vote Gardevoir and Gallde cause, well, they're green and have frickin' BLADEs on their wrists. Well, Gallade does. And because Gallade doesn't need his knife to be Emo like he did when he was a Kirlia.

I logged into here and saw that I had voted for Shiny Hoppip. I didn't, I voted for Lugia earlier. I canceled my vote and went with Lugia. Maybe some of the voters didn't realize that they had to cancel their votes?

I'm sorry but i know democracy and all, but for the good of the forum, shiny hoppip is just not it... So vote for anything excluding shiny hoppip. I'm pretty sure some people must think it's a joke and voted shiny hoppip, or they must have not been in their senses. But the popularity of this forum is going down if it's shiny hoppip :/

I say lugia because.. it simply suits 'The Emerald Rain' Very well. If not lugia, castform also suits it. I chose lugia due to personal preference.

i agree totaly with raikou. Imagine if serebii has gotten wurmple for mascot??? Legendary pokemon gives more prestige i think........

You cant compare that at all. You cant name your site Serebii (Latin name for Celebi) then have Wurmple as a mascot. Smogon's mascot is a Koffing and they are the most popular Pokemon community of today.

Guys, we need to stop unleashing our emotions at each other. Voting means everyone has their rights, and I do not want to see anyone being enraged at any of the options. Someone votes for Shiny Hoppip, let it be. What goes around comes around, right back at them. Either we all work together, or we don't work at all. It's depressing to see how it's all falling apart, and what's worse is that I'm a part of it too.

Anyways, enough of the talk. Poll update, Lugia seems to be favored by most up until now. Since most of our active members (and now, the only members who seem to come here) have voted, we might as well be closing the poll in a few days...

I think lugia is decided as the mascot pokemon.. 10 votes have been made and the desicion is clear. Now i'm simply waiting for the other's replys =P

Lugia brings no originality to this forum. It just makes you another of those "Legendary-worshiping" forums which generally never succeed. I may be wrong, but this is my opinion. Castform would be just perfect for this forum, but i guess most of you just like legendary stuff...

Castform WOULD be perfect if it actually looked good and appealed to people that aren't completely biased against Ubers.
It doesn't, the first one doubly so, so Lugia is better.

Serebii is the ORIGINAL "Legendary-worshipping" site, and that's not doing so badly. In fact, Serebii was the first Pokemon site I ever went to, and that was solely because Celebi is a legendary.
Arkeis also has legendaries as their mascots; specifically, Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, and Lugia.
Team Uber, too.

Considering Lugia is already very widely used on this site, I think we should stick with it.

Come to think of it, castform isn't too bad. Also, it's better than shiny hoppip, i guess.
