My NU Team!

I will battle people's NU and UU teams with this. Only OU if I'm in a good mood. Also, please do not steal the this team. They took a while to come up with.

Yanma (NFE Tier) Modest (If Bug Buzz) Bold (If Substitute), Focus Sash, Speed Boost

252 Def, 252 Sp. Def, 4 Hp (If Substitute). 252 Sp. Atk, 176 Def, 176 Sp. Def, 4 Hp (If Bugg Buzz). Lead, does the same thing as a ninjask, just without the Sword's Dance, hopefully can get more speed boosts with sleep. If the sleep should work I may consider using substitute and baton passing to Marowak. The other option is if hypnosis does work to use Bug Buzz until they wake up. Yanma probably won't be a strong attacker anyway though.

Relicanth (NU Tier) Adamant, Muscle Band, Rock Head

Head Smash

Earthquake/ Bounce (covers ever abundant Grass Type)
Stealth Rock

252 Atk, 110 Spd, 148 Sp. Def. Baton Passed to, thus will act as the teams main sweeper. Head Smash combined with Rock Head Create and an attack with base power of 225, plus Muscle Band for a base power of 247. Also sets up stealth rock and can survive a few hits because of high defense stats. Has other 2 attacks for good type coverage.


Marowak (NU Tier) Adamant, Thick Club, Rock Head

Belly Drum (If Substitute on Yanma)/ Brick Break (If Bug Buzz)
Earthquake
Fire Punch
Thunder Punch

252 Atk, 40 Spd, 216 Hp. Another option to use as a sweeper. Baton Passing a few speed boosts and a substitute will set up for Marowak's Belly Drum, which combo'ed with Earthquake, Thick Club, and STAB gives an attack with base power of 1200. Would be an unstoppable sweeper.


Shuckle (NU Tier) Bold, Chesto Berry, Sturdy (Neither will be used either way)

252 Health, 252 Sp. Def, 4 Def. Essentially an amazing wall and Toxic Staller. Could possibly set up Stealth Rock if a Rapid Spinner should come and Relicanth is out. Rest is obvious. Safeguard protects the rest of the team from status afflictions from Thunder wave and the like.


Gardevoir (NU Tier) Bold/Modest, Wide Lens, Synchronize

Signal Beam (Other psychic types)
Hypnosis/Focus Blast
Charge Beam

Gardevoir is a Special Sweeper. Will get 252 Evs in Speed, 148 Def, 110 Sp. Atk. The defense evs strengthens its survival abilities. While Hypnosis also helps. Could be interchangeable with Focus Blast to cover Dark types, but signal beam also does that. Charge Beam has the high rate of Sp. Atk increase, while Psychic is a very powerful STAB move.

Shiftry (NU Tier) Adamant/Jolly, No idea, Early Bird

252 Atk evs, 252 Spd. 4 Def. To be honest, I just chose him because no one else does. I dont know if he'll be any good, but I might as well try it out. He has some solid moves and can do some okay damage. I have no idea what item to give him though...Explosion if he is about to die, otherwise he should do okay.

I hope this will be a good team, what do you guys think?

very good teams. i think a good nature for shifftry will be Modest / Rash with this moves:

~ Leaf Storm
~ Dark Pulse
~ Extrasensory
~ Hidden Power Ice / Explosion

and evs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe

The problem with that is that if you use Leaf Storm, all the rest of his attacks are pretty much useless (- 2 Sp. Atk levels). I just feel like the other move set would be more effective. I realize I have a lot of Physical Sweepers, so if I were to make him more of a special sweeper I would make his move set

Which Yanma should I go with? (In your opinions)

I'm going to go with the substitute Yanma, I know it has no actual attacks, but I'll test it out.

Me in all my infinite wisdom (lol) never thought it important to check to see if Yanma could even learn Baton Pass, which it can't. That being so my team was kinda left broken and helpless. So I had to come up with a replacement. This is it:


Lopunny: Cute Charm, Impish (+Def, -Sp. Atk), Sitrus Berry

Thunderwave
Agility
Substitute
Baton Pass

Of all the NU pokemon I could choose to fill this role Lopunny had the best defensive stats which are what I really need. With 84 and 96 Def and Sp. Def stats, respectively, also 105 base speed, I think it should be able to pull of its job. It will have 252 Def and 252 Sp. Def. The strategy with this one is that it starts with Thunderwave (which will most likely work with the ever common steel type lead). After it is paralyzed go for agility. Hopefully the defenses will hold up through the two attaks, also the paralysis could force a switch. Then Substitute if, I have the health. If I was able to substitute I Baton Pass to Marowak, if not I Baton Pass to Relicanth. That's the best solution I could come up with, what so you think? With defenses at level 100 being around 293 and 291 each respectively (based on ivs) it should be able to survive a few shots.
