| Okay, so I'm thinking that it's finally time for me to start EV training my pokemon. Haha. I'm not going to start just yet because I am going to beat my LG again and then start. Anyway, one of the 1st pokemon that I will EV train will be a Cubone (Marowak). I'm thinking of EV training it in Defense and Speed. My reason for this is, Marowak are usually slow, so speed can be really good for it in tough situations and it already has pretty good defense, so raising it some more would help it to be a wall or some sort. The reason I didn't choose Attack was because the item, Thick Club, doubles Cubone and Marowak's attack stat. Of course you're thinking that having a Marowak EV'd in attack and having Thick Club would make it have amazing attack, but I'm trying to balance it out. This way, I think it would have good attack (because of the Thick Club doubling it's attack), good defense and speed. So, tell me what you think of this plan for Marowak.
Also, I'm going to be training him because I was thinking on chain-breeding to get a Marowak with Ancientpower.
Here is what I'm thinking for Marowak:
Marowak @ Thick Club
Ability: Rock Head
EVs: Defense and Speed
~Ancientpower
~Double-Edge
~Bonemerang

| 252 EVs in defence, leaving only 4 for attack would be a bit too much.
Try, maybe..
252EVs in Speed
220EVs in Defence
38EVs in Attack | |

| Alright. And what do you think about his moveset? Im going to breed Kabutops with Feraligatr (both in Water 1 egg group) to get Totodile with Ancientpower, then breed the evolved Croconaw with Marowak (both in Monster egg group) for Cubone with Ancientpower. Then have Bonemerang as STAB move with good accuracy and attack, compared with the other "bone" moves. Double-edge for a powerful move and recieve no recoil from rock head. But im not sure about the last move. | |
