The strategy for the first one is that he will survive to use Dark Void, then be able to use recover to get back to full health and recycle to get the sash back, then use judgement to take out the opponent.

For the second the nature is supposed to be modest. The strategy is hope he survives (Evs to def and Sp. Def) and use Darkvoid. Agility then recover and set up for Judgement. Or no Agility and have the water type option to cover Normal type Judgement's weakness to rock types, and no damage to ghosts.

The only thing I don't like about the first one is that it will take a while to heal and refresh the item, which might give the other pokemon time to wake up...
